Base on my recent stay at the holiday inn I would probably not stay there again nor recommend it. Staff was not friendly nor professional, unable to resolve issues definitely not the IHG experience I had at other properties. At the time of arrival the room I was assigned to (333 )was not completely clean. Sheets and comfort were not change from previous guest, I found hair and sheets were extremely wrinkled. I called front desk to ask if they could send housekeeping to change all sheets, the font desk staff responded that housekeeping was gone for the day, which was not completely true as I saw them down the hallway, nevertheless front desk said that they could provide me with the sheets so I could do it myself, this was not the appropriate response. So I asked to move me to another room. They did, however their response was not acceptable. At the end of my stayed I checked out and staff didn’t care to asked bout my stay! I did request to talk to a manager on site, To my surprise she was right there listening to her staff not doing their job, So talking to her made no difference as she was also at the front desk at the time of my arrival and more than likely she heard the issue with the dirty sheets. I did tell her my concerns, she apologized and she blamed the new staff, which in my opinion it is not what the problem is. Bad customer service starts with bad leadership and harsh environment.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was one of 4 I stayed in for my trip, and also one of the cheapest, and far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff was extremely friendly which was. A breathe of fresh air. They were attentive and quick to deliver anything we needed. The room was large and clean, very comfortable. My kids liked that there were two tvs so they could watch tv and we could also. Breakfast was more than I expected as well with plenty of offerings to choose from. Sunday was a bit of a disappointment because an hour before it ended they seemed to stop restocking so there were no bagels left and the eggs were cold and chewy. Every other day it was all pretty good though. I was pleasantly surprised at the provided toiletries, they were good quality dove branded so we didn’t use our own. The location was great. My best friend was getting married at the Scott resort down the road, this hotel was less than half the price and way better than her room. Thanks for the great stay! I will definitely stay again next time I’m traveling to AZ.
I checked in as IHG gold rewards and this was worst check-in experience I ever had at IHG. I asked few days upfront if I could change my plan and check-in earlier and asked for the price by mail. They did not send any reply to me but changed my booking without coming back. When I clarified this during check in the lady at front desk stopped talking to me, gave me keys wordless, wanted my cc ... when I asked for what I got no answer. She did not explain where to find the room or elevator, pool etc... but went on to the next customer. No welcome as Gold rewards member just very rude and impolite. The hotel itself was very nice and the rooms excellent but this manager made it to one of the worst experience during 3 weeks stay in US. It was our last stay and should have been a nice end of our travel, this hotel is perfect for this.
