Hotel is clean but old . Not what I would expect from a resort but based on the cost of stay I knew it wouldn’t be an amazing experience. Price if rooms are less than I would expect a upscale resort to be. . Rooms are large, with extra section for desk work. The bad part is the bathroom is tiny! So tiny you can not stand in front of the mirror over the sink because the toilet is in the way. What I don’t understand is, the room is so big, why make the bathroom so small? Housekeeping doesn’t come unless requested. I requested housekeeping at 8am. At 1pm had to request again. I went to the pool to let them get in the room. At 4;30 room was still not done. I had to go back and request for the room to be cleaned a third time! Pool is nice. Bartenders at outdoor pool are knowledgeable and attentive. Gym is far from the rooms in an adjacent building but adequately appointed. It was fine for a business stay but I wouldn’t go for vacation.
Loved the location. The landscaping is beautiful. Our room was spacious but the hotel and rooms are a bit dated and in need of some maintenance. The towels and washcloths were threadbare and grayish. The food and service at the restaurants was great. The Falls Water Village was fun. It was nice relaxing at the adults only pool.
Check in was very smooth thanks to Elyse and Joyce. They were very kind, personable, and patient. Our room and the resort was beautiful which helped to make our stay one to remember. The shuttle service is also an added bonus that we didn’t even know about until we checked in. So awesome! We will be back!
The shower water was scalding hot even when I used the coldest setting and the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. Both problems were reported to the front desk staff. Also, the hotel's fitness center equipment was minimalistic. But the room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant food and service were excellent, and the front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. Even the security staff person and his dog were friendly while remaining professional at all times. All in all, my stay was enjoyable.
This Hilton is more like a 3-star hotel. I was only here for one night before my flight from Phoenix. Upon arrival, the staff that checked me in were great. Very friendly. I went to relax by the pool after check in. It was late in the day (after 5pm) and there weren’t many people there. The pool area was trashed with leftover food, plates etc. all over the lounge chairs. So bad to the point that birds were all over the place scrounging for food. It was incredibly unpleasant. Hotel was also noisy at night. I was woken up by noisy guests walking the hallways in the middle of the night. Bathroom was also not throughly cleaned. Overall, this is good if you are just passing through or staying for the night, but I wish I would’ve stayed at one of the nicer “real” resorts up the road.
