Honestly just supper disappointed. I visited the one in Palm Springs, and when I found out they had one in Scottsdale, I booked it for my mom and myself. The location is great, but the rooms are really dirty. Like a roadside motel may be better than this. Stains everywhere. I guess if you are just there to party it may not matter, but I really wanted a cute place for my mom and me while we explored Scottsdale. There was dust on everything that looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while, there was a gross dirty mattress in the hallway too. I understand they are doing renovations but this just makes it seem super seedy. There were stains in the bathroom, on the chair next to the bed and nothing dusted for a long time. The carpet leading up the rooms on the outside is pretty gross too. The lady at the front desk when we checked in that night wasn’t friendly at all. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because I got a late check out. Never returning.
Great hotel I'm guessing when building 6 is not under renovation, as of July 2022 all rooms are subject to non stop music between 12-5 pm on the weekends throughout the hotel. Great if I wanted to " party " all day unfortunately my schedule required me to rest in the afternoons and there was no peace my whole 6 day stay. Everyone in the staff was friendly and approachable Gabriel was my favorite staff member. Knowledgeable, friendly and respectful ???? ✨️ Tim was cool and Knowledgeable 5he bar staff reminded me.of my collage days and hustling ( good on you ). Excellent location for getting around. Thank you, I will be back but not until I can have some daytime peace and able to sleep for a few hours during the day after my extreme surveying if Arizona hiking trails. ✌️ Constantina
I unfortunately did not have a chance to stay here but I did book a cabana for the day via resort pass. I looked at quite a few different hotels who offered cabana and day bed rentals and felt The Saguaro was the best deal and still agree with that! There was a food & beverage minimum with the cabana rental (I did know this ahead of time but it was ‘fine print.’) Luckily the wonderful staff (especially Liz!) keep the pitchers coming and the food was delicious…meting the minimum was no problem. My only complaint is that the water was somewhat cloudy, but not concerning. I also completely understand that I was visiting the day after their 4th of July pool party and was satisfied that I could smell pool chemicals/chlorine. Bonus Points: Free Parking, close by Old Town Scottsdale, get the taco trio.
My friend and I stayed last week, Wed-Sat. The staff was very friendly- from the front desk to the bartenders outside. Everyone was really nice. Even let us check in extremely early bc we came on the red eye. Both pools were very clean and lovely to hang out by. Friday/Saturday was a DJ and music. The only downfall we had was our room could use an update. It was fine! But for instance, the bathtub took forever to drain. So if you're showering, you'll be standing in a lot of water. Would stay here again!,
