Highly recommend Carly for a facial (magical!) and Mariah for massage (so relaxing, checking every so often to ensure pressure was OK!). Mary Lynn is a hoot! Arrive early and ask to spend time on the peaceful 2nd floor patio while you wait for your appointment time. Call to ask for any special packages. I had a one-hour facial + one-hour massage + hand and foot scrub for an astonishingly reasonable price. Would easily have been two to three times more at one of the Scottsdale resorts. This little gem is tucked away, too, so zero street/traffic noise to disturb a relaxing, rejuvenating escape.
I've lived here since '95 and by far the overall experience @ Mary Lynn's is the best! Its the combo of her knowledge/expertise w/ her warmth/genuine care that let's you know you're in good 'hands'???? my expectations always exceeded- reflected by my treatment results! She knows what she's doing & her love for it radiates! Thanks to you and your entire staff, keep up the good work! All the Scottsdale Glam & Glitz without all the Scottsdale attitude & price????????
I went to Mary Lynn for my birthday yesterday. It was my first time visiting a spa and I had a wonderful experience. I chose the three hour package. For the price I felt it offered a decent amount of service. I searched for quite sometime because I wanted to make sure my first experience was a good one. Compared to others it was one of the best. I had Yvette and Bestet. Very lovely ladies. My massage was perfect. I could feel the tension being worked out of my body. The ambiance and setting is very calming and serene. The facial left my face glowing on top of I got wonderful skincare advice during my facial. The customer service is top tier. I was 30 mins late and they offered to check to see if her other client was there and if not she would make up my missed time. I really appreciated this because I didn’t even ask her to do that. Very genuine and authentic experience. I know it’s a recall on strawberries ???? so I wasn’t tripping but that was the only thing I can say wasn’t there that’s listed in the package either way for me it was still a 5 star experience and I will definitely be back.
A couple of weeks ago, my friend and I each booked a 3-hour package for massage and facials. However, the experience was not what we thought it would be. The masseuse didn't seem to want to be there from the beginning and had poor technique. She tried to stretch my hamstrings before doing anything else to warm them up, so it didn't feel great. She was also obviously a smoker, which was not pleasant to smell while she did some upper body work. My friend had a worse time as she had some real problems to address. My friend says she also fell asleep at some point and left during her massage to handle someone yelling to be served downstairs (I did hear this from my room). The facial was ok, not great, kind of patchy work. She also didn't do (or clean) my whole hand, and nearly rubbed 1-2 areas raw. On top of that, they stopped 30 minutes EARLY without telling us beforehand. That's THIRTY MINUTES that we ALREADY PAID to have treatment and did not get any. As an "apology", we were given bottles of serum with the labels half cut out. Not sure what the deal was with that, we looked up the product, it's cheap ($15 per bottle, which is what they charge for a single application). The owner did not want to give us our money back (ANY of it, even to compensate for the 30 minutes) or have us come in when we could do it over. We paid all that money (more than $500) plus gratuity for poor service. Some of the reviews looked good, but buyer Beware.
Went here for my birthday ???? relaxation day. A friend and I chose Mary Lynn’s over places we were looking at for over a week and a half. Loved the ladies Katrina was the best. Worked out my knots and made me so relaxed haven’t been able to lift my arm without restriction for a long while. I will be back monthly if not twice a month. Well needed and enjoyed. First time for a facial (Mariah hope I spelled that right) and the ladies complimented my skin as I use nothing but natural coconut oil and they also offered advice for my sister who wasn’t even there. Love you ladies we will be back and the environment was quiet and relaxing.
